When my youngest sister was born, you couldn't pull the video camera out of my hands. Something about freezing those tiny, fleeting moments completely captured me. That feeling never left.
Years later, that camera turned into a photography business built from the ground up with a whole lot of heart, curiosity, and probably an unreasonable number of hours spent teaching myself something new.
I'm drawn to people and all the little things that make them them.
The big laugh. The quiet kid coming out of their shell. The chaos that turns into the most beautiful shot of the day.
And when I'm not behind the camera? I'm probably drinking coffee with my husband, getting a workout in, taking a good walk with our Great Dane, Nellie, or curled up with a book. Where are my murder mystery lovers or the girls who can devour a quick, feel-good romance in approximately one sitting?
I love a good list, a good laugh, and people who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm a little goofy, endlessly curious, and I care..a lot.
Photography just happens to be one of my favorite ways to show it.
My approach
It starts the moment you reach out. I'll walk you through everything you need to know so booking feels easy and exciting, not overwhelming. Once you're on my calendar you'll get a survey in your inbox the week before your session so I can get to know you before we ever meet. Your personality, your vibe, what makes you laugh.
Then comes the fun part. On session day I show up as your photographer and your biggest hype woman. I'll fix your shirt, smooth your hair, tell you a terrible joke or twelve, and do whatever it takes to make you forget there's a camera in your face. Because the best photos happen when you stop trying to pose and just start being yourself.
Galleries are delivered within two weeks of your session. Need your photos faster? A rush delivery option is available for an additional fee.
