When my youngest sister was born, you couldn't pull the video camera out of my hands. Something about freezing those tiny, fleeting moments completely captured me. That feeling never left.
Years later, that camera turned into a photography business built from the ground up with a whole lot of heart, curiosity, and probably an unreasonable number of hours spent teaching myself something new.
I'm drawn to people and all the little things that make them them.
The big laugh. The quiet kid coming out of their shell. The chaos that turns into the most beautiful shot of the day.
And when I'm not behind the camera? I'm probably drinking coffee with my husband, getting a workout in, taking a good walk with our Great Dane, Nellie, or curled up with a book. Where are my murder mystery lovers or the girls who can devour a quick, feel-good romance in approximately one sitting?
I love a good list, a good laugh, and people who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm a little goofy, endlessly curious, and I care..a lot.
Photography just happens to be one of my favorite ways to show it.
My approach
It starts the moment you reach out. I'll walk you through everything you need to know so booking feels easy and exciting, not overwhelming. Once you're on my calendar you'll get a survey in your inbox the week before your session so I can get to know you before we ever meet. Your personality, your vibe, what makes you laugh.
Then comes the fun part. On session day I show up as your photographer and your biggest hype woman. I'll fix your shirt, smooth your hair, tell you a terrible joke or twelve, and do whatever it takes to make you forget there's a camera in your face. Because the best photos happen when you stop trying to pose and just start being yourself.
Galleries are delivered within two weeks of your session. Need your photos faster? A rush delivery option is available for an additional fee.

How do I book?
Easy! Head to the photography page that fits what you're looking for, whether that's Families, Seniors, The Art of Being Little, or Branding. You'll find all the session details and a Book Now button right there!
From there, you can select an available date and time. Once your session is confirmed, you'll receive everything you need to make it official, including your contract and payment details.
And don't worry, I won't leave you guessing what happens next! I'll walk you through everything so you can show up feeling prepared, relaxed, and ready to have some fun!
What should we wear for our session?
Don’t stress about it, just ask me! Outfit guidance is part of the experience, and I genuinely love helping with this.
We’ll choose outfits that photograph beautifully, feel like you, and work well with the location and overall feel of your session. You can even send me photos of what you’re considering, and I’m happy to help you pull everything together.
No need to figure it all out on your own, that’s what I’m here for.
Where do sessions take place?
I photograph sessions throughout Tipp City, Dayton, and surrounding Ohio communities.
I have go-to locations I love and can help you choose a spot that works beautifully for your session, but I’m always open to somewhere new, too.

What if I don't want photos of my children shared on social media or your website?
I completely understand, and I respect that decision 100%!
Your family's privacy is important to me, and you are always in control of whether your images are shared publicly.
If you'd prefer to keep your photographs private, just let me know! I will not share your images on social media, my website, or in any marketing materials without your permission.
Your photos are yours to enjoy, share, or keep all to yourself. No explanation needed, and absolutely no hard feelings!

Do you travel?
Yes! I primarily photograph sessions throughout Tipp City, Dayton, and surrounding Ohio communities, but I’m absolutely available to travel.
Travel outside my regular service area may include an additional fee depending on the location. Reach out and let’s talk details!
What if the weather is bad?
Life happens and so does Ohio weather. 😂 If the weather isn’t going to cooperate, we’ll reschedule your session at no additional charge.
I’ll keep an eye on the forecast as your session approaches and we’ll touch base if things are looking questionable. No need to stress about it, we’ll make the call together and find another date that works.
How many people can be in a family session?
Family sessions are designed for immediate families of up to 6 people.
Have a bigger crew or hoping to include extended family? Reach out! I’m happy to talk through what you’re envisioning and recommend the best option for your group.
Are studio rental or location fees included in my session price?
Studio rental fees, location fees, and permit costs are not included in your session price.
If we choose a location that requires an additional fee, I’ll let you know before anything is booked and the cost will be added to your invoice.
No surprise charges ever. I want you to know exactly what you’re paying for before your session.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
They don’t have to. 😂
Kids get to be kids during our session. They can be silly, shy, wild, curious, or need a little time to warm up, I’ll meet them where they are.
We’ll play, move, take breaks when we need to, and work with their personalities instead of expecting them to perform for the camera.
Some of my favorite photographs happen when things don’t go according to plan.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! If your dog is part of the family, they’re welcome to be part of your session, too.
Just let me know ahead of time so we can choose a dog-friendly location and plan accordingly.
And no, your dog does not need to be perfectly behaved either. 😂
